Toddler 02:39
Every morning when I wake It's a blindingly bright new day And I need you to keep me From making a complete mess of everything Remember, I'm three feet Tall monsters love me I need you to keep me Grounded Any second I could take off running You know I would Every shiny new surface Is tempting me Remember, I'm three feet These giants care for me I might cry If you don't hug me Will you keep me from climbing up the shelf? Will you chase me when I go running for the stairs? Keep me from reaching too high Keep me from reaching too high

Unforgettable adventures await Hop in the car, let's drive to every state But who will feed the dogs when we're away? I've got a lot of reasons to stay for But remaining in one place forever Isn't what we're made for All the sweet dream vacations The view, the mountains, the beach They say, "Work hard and be patient" But it always seems just out of reach All the living things that love you Live in your house But what of all the world I've yet to see? That's okay, you can travel To a distant place without even moving What will your form of payment be? Unforgettable adventures await We can split the difference How much can you pay? Hop in the car, let's drive to every state Hey, but who will cut the grass when we're away? How many hours in a given week Already laid out and numbered for me How sweet, sometimes it makes the future Feel kind of bleak, like maybe I can move But am I ever free? We can leave town but is it ever free? Cash or credit? Or you can link your bank account And be part of any fantasy Make sure you buy insurance You won't pay the full amount In the event of tragedy Unforgettable adventures await We can split the difference How much can you pay? Hop in the car, let's drive to every state Hey, but who will feed the dogs when we're away? Unforgettable adventures await

Unresolved 03:39
As we stay here in our confined spaces Like patients waiting for some good news I'm trying to find the positive Opening curtains for light Sometimes it's like looking for beauty in blood Try to remember We're letting the Earth take a breath I need you like a bug Needs a safe leaf to land on As we stay here in our remote spaces Crooked wall clocks counting seconds Dreaming of distant places I'm missing living Fields full of running children And tickets to ride in the sky Set off running Set off running Looking for friendly faces Can't touch them, but I can wave To keep my heart beating Can't be near them, but we can smile And nod like two people who know We're not in this We're not in this alone We're not in this alone As we stay here in our distant spaces Like patients waiting for some good news

Remember having a soul Just reminiscing Somewhere in one of those Late shifts went missing Say, I bet I could be Up on the marquee A life of fame and riches If I could just finish All of these damn dishes Fixing that leg of my soul That's always depressed I'm gonna be the great Unsung success I guess Miss What's-her-name Was right about me all this time I'm just a bit rough around the edges Stay around long enough You know they'll get you Somehow and in some way Oh, they'll get you Like in the book by Hemingway If I stay here much longer I hope I come out stronger In the broken places Fixing that leg of my soul That's always depressing Maybe I'll get the right Rich person's blessing Say, why don't you write Something more lighthearted Like some cute love song Or buy some beats and sing About all your money and bitches Remember having a soul Just reminiscing Somewhere in one of those Bedrooms went missing I guess I don't need To be on the marquee I won't need no three wishes My baby loves me Rough around the edges Gon' getcha, gon' getcha, gon' getcha Gon' getcha, gon' getcha Gon' getcha, gon' getcha, gon' getcha Gon' getcha, gon' getcha, gon' getcha Gon' getcha, gon' getcha, gon' getcha Gon' getcha, gon' getcha, gon' getcha Gon' getcha, gon' getcha, gon' getcha Gon' getcha, gon' getcha If I stay here much longer I hope I come out stronger If I stay here much longer I hope I come out stronger In the broken places In the broken places If I stay here much longer I hope I come out stronger

Country! 03:52
Living my whole life For my country From the time we first arrived Here on these shores We knew the reason God had sent us for This land could turn a profit Just keep the savage off it And if they don't comply We'll go to war Country! Country! We are always right In my country I can go out any time Moon or sun I don't even have To bring my gun Police will protect me Make sure that I don't speed Keep suspicious riff-raff Off my street Country! Country! It's safer to be white In my country I love my country Everyone is free As long as they all stay Just beneath me We are all one great, big family Yeah, the kind that don't call And we never see What a pity I've got a whole cabinet Full of pills and remedies So I won't have to feel Too much of anything I want to celebrate All the money I can make If they're poor, they must be dumb So let them suffocate Ha, ha, ha, ha No, we don't care if you die In my country Country! Country! Living my whole life For my country

They all made millions Years ago here Now there's a sadness In the atmosphere Scored a touchdown In the hero's way New concussion On the next play After a while It all gets worn out That's what time will Teach you all about Get out your phone Pick out a couch And some poor boys will ship it to your house Or maybe I need A new machine To keep my clothes All nice and clean After a while It all gets worn out That's what new things Will teach you all about Still I would never take back All the bad times The hardest nights taught me All I know of compassion Canceled the season In the papers Would've been his first year In the majors They all made millions Years ago here Now there's a sadness In the atmosphere

Unknowns 04:02
She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey As we sit here In our own spaces Like patients waiting On some good news Checking my memory For friendly faces Spend a minute In someone else's shoes Find the positive At least we try Opening curtains For some natural light You carry around Such a heavy weight So much like you to try To hold it all together Even when you need You need to cry She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey, hey, hey So many unknowns Like indoor flowers reaching For sunlit places As we sit here waiting Like dying patients We scrub our hands with alcohol We boil our water clean Let your guard down for an afternoon It'll hit you like Like a bad dream She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey, hey, hey So many unknowns Just try to remember When you carry around That heavy weight Still have to live your life How you hold it all together Even when you need to cry She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey When you need to cry She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey When you need to cry She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey Then you need to cry She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey, hey, hey She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey, she-na-na-hey She-na-na-hey, hey, hey

It's like bluest sky On the brightest day But I can't go out No I gotta stay Inside Feeling like a statue Sitting here trying not to decay Will patience turn the tide? If you don't sit still Then you can't heal But if you don't move a muscle Then you can't feel If you don't sit still Then you can't heal But if you don't move a muscle Then you can't Did you see the sign On the wall of the dojang It's not your first kick It's your mindset Remember good times When we all sang What you give is What you give is what you get You've got to let yourself Feel good sometimes The figureheads of every company Saying this is not the year That we envisioned It's not anyone's fault It's not easy Living in the wake of these decisions Today we learned a new lesson Looking back on what it all meant Life has new lessons for us now They just look a little different Today we learned a new lesson Looking back on what it all meant Life has new lessons for us now They just look a little different Did you see the sign On the wall of the dojang It takes patience To make home a home Remember good times When we all sang I promise you Like When In Rome I promise you You've got to let yourself Feel good sometimes Yeah You've got to let yourself Feel good

Polar Vortex 06:25
What if it were so cold You couldn't feel a thing A new ice age on some planet A billion miles away The way kids can be They don't know any better There is power In what you do not say Calling in the middle of a crisis A polar vortex on the weekend My eyes never get no rest From these machines For once in your life You gotta take a chance For once in your life You gotta take a chance Or is the sun getting hotter Each year will we notice When we're older And we're all dying of cancer The way adults can be When they're being stubborn For everyone, everything Some bullshit answer Calling in the middle of a crisis The polar vortex coming My brain never gets no break From this crippling anxiety Someone please remind me For once in your life You gotta take a chance For once in your life You gotta take a chance Oh, for all we know It doesn't happen again Always on someone else's watch Or running in circles 'round the house We just need some time To watch the time go by Or maybe could you bring Some relief with you Give the kids Something more to do We've got no power We've got no light But at least we all got up and went Outside Calling in the middle of a crisis Calling in the middle of a crisis For once in your life You gotta take a chance Oh, for all we know For all we know For all we know It doesn't happen again
